SUMMARY
Summary Joanna Brooks is a Chartered Psychologist and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Huddersfield with recognised expertise in qualitative research. She is known for her work on developing novel and inclusive approaches to research in applied settings – recently, a visual interview technique, Pictor, with Nigel King. She is author of numerous publications using and describing qualitative methods, including (with Nigel King) Template Analysis for Business and Management Students (Sage, 2016). Her primary research interests focus on health-related topics, especially in relation to networks of support. She is particularly interested in using participatory approaches in her work, and in exploring innovative and creative ways to support well-being in public health and community settings.
