I also invited the Peabody Museum and the Essex Institute in Salem. In the East I search for the descendants of Johannes Poll in Dhofar and came upon Sayyid Abdul Khaliq bin Salmin bin Rabi, the son of the well-known lady in Dhofar, Harir, who was the daughter of Abdullah bin Mohammad, Johannes Poll: her mother was Brikun, whom her father married towards the end of his life.
