The main concern of this book is the national and governmental supply chain which has hardly ever been considered by regular publications in related disciplines. It provides readers not only with useful information about some new topics regarding the supply chain but also helps them track the history and related cases of each topic. This manuscript has been organized in twelve chapters so that the reader can study each chapter not only within the context but also independently. If someone wants to study the book more profoundly, the sequencing suggested in the preface can be helpful. Generally, the readers of this book can be divided into at least two groups: 1) students with a master's degree or more, who can use this book as a whole in class, 2) experts who want to learn more about a new topic regarding logistics and the supply chain management; this group may want to read a short chapter about a special topic which can be found in this book.
